Level 1: Diabetes – Basic
Initial visits and follow-up visits will cover following subject areas
- Lifestyle inventory to understand factors contributing to diabetes and your general health
- Discuss “maintenance first”, which is a unique approach to ensure that changes made are long-lasting and preparing the patient for falling-off-the-wagon situations such as holidays, traveling, parties, and a busy work-life schedule
- Understand what diabetes is and how nutrition, physical activity, insulin, and medication play a role in controlling blood-sugar levels
- Understand and change the factors contributing to diabetes
- Identify “stage of change.” It is important to identify the level of motivation to change as it will help us design a plan or intervention that fits your level
- Provide a meal plan based on the individual lifestyle
- Session with a dietitian who specializes in physical activity and body-strengthening exercises
Level 1: Diabetes – Advanced
- Focus is on reversing the diabetes and reducing the inflammation, while preventing and repairing the damage done to the tissues
- Intervention includes two weeks of detox and anti-inflammatory protocol
- Addition of vitamins and mineral supplements
- Introduction to meditation and establishing the mind-body connection
- Anti-inflammatory and allergen-free cooking techniques
- Introduction to juicing, raw food, and a vegan lifestyle
- Maintenance support is also offered.

Initial consultations include
